​ABOUT​

​​Gritman&Moran is one of Lake County's premiere acoustic vocal and guitar duo/bands. Heather Moran and Steve Gritman are Lake County musicians that are known for their eclectic song catalog, as well as their charismatic relationships with many different demographic audiences.

They are a high level music act that will elevate your event/venue to the next level.

Heather Moran has performed regionally, nationally and in the Chicagoland area for the last decade.  Some recent venues she has appeared at include: Strawberry Moon in Wauconda, New York's Metropolitan Room and The Waterclub, Pittsburgh's BackStage Bar,  The Hibiscus in New Jersey, San Fran's Plush Room, Wilson Center of the Arts and Oconomoc Theater in Wisconsin, The Skokie Theatre, Drury Lane Watertower, Katerina’s, Grant Park, Andy’s Jazz, Park West, Bistrot Margot, Tuscany-Wheeling, Webster’s Wine Bar, Davenport’s, The Green Mill, Gold Star Sardine Bar and Martyr's.  Heather has performed on numerous radio station programs and was recently featured performing her Rosie Clooney holiday jazz on the channel 9 WGN morning show.  She attended college at Carnegie-Mellon University, University of Colorado-Boulder and Columbia College. She also studied at Second City theatre in Chicago.  To keep up her jazz chops, she recently opened for Bob Newhart with a full  orchestra to a sold-out Chicago theatre.   You can visit Heather's other website at www.HeatherMoran.com

 

Steve Gritman has been performing in central Illinois and eastern Iowa for the last twenty years on guitar, violin, ukulele, & mandolin. Steve has performed with countless acts playing contemporary music, jazz and classical-most recently as the violinist for the Adagio Trio throughout central and eastern Iowa. Steve fronts his other band called The Gritland Band, where he sings, as well as playing guitar and fiddle.  He is also a solo performer. His diverse musical background and multi instrumental capability allows him to play a wide variety of music for nearly all occasions.
